Events
- Rucking Challenges September Challenge is a pretty intense memorial ruck in remembrance of 9/11.
- GORUCK’s monthly challenge is a rucking fundraiser to support Team RWB.
- Travis Manion Foundation has 9/11 Heroes Run (and Ruck) events all over the US this month. It should be noted that Lee McCarthy said on the latest GORUCK Show that doing the TM event was the Ruck Club Challenge for September.
- GORUCK Released the 2020 Star Course events AND the big news is that they rolled out a new Star Course Sprint Series that has 5k, 10k, and 15K options which makes the Star Course even more accessible to darn near everyone.
- If you’re a GORUCK Club leader, the next Leaders Ruck will, according to Bomber, be in Las Vegas.
- Also in Bomber News, the NOLA Star Course will be the “Reunion of Star Course” and he, along with Kit and Lee, will be there.
Rucks
- In the off chance that you live in a cave with no internet and some happens to print this page out and mails it to you, then you should know that GORUCK is moving most of their ruck production outside of the US. Jason covered this in-depth in the State of GORUCK post.
- The first batch of Siagon Rucks are live on GORUCK.com. The black 26L GR1, 25L Rucker, and 20L Rucker are the first to post. It should also be noted that those who have received the Siagon-made Ruckers have reported that they come with bottom drain holes standard.
- US-made Rucks are all on sale.
Gear
- Jason formally announced on Instagram that the low-top (no name released) rucking shoes (which we mentioned a few months back) will be live for order on the Workshop page THIS MONTH. Yes, I will order a pair as soon as they go live.
- A few products went live recently including the American Rucking Sweatpants and the Rucking T-shirt (long and short sleeve).
- Finally, the much requested 8″ Black MACV-1 Rucking Boots are live for preorder via the Workshop.
Stalking People
- All the below info is gleaned from Lee & Bomber’s most recent GORUCK Show.
- Jason, GORUCK’s founder and CEO, is probably going to be at the DC 9/11 Events.
- Nick, GORUCK’s official photographer, will be at the 9/11 NYC events. If you see him, be sure to look directly at the camera and smile. He loves that.
- Lee McCarthy will be at the 9/11 DC events and then he’ll be at the Kennedyville Savage Race. He also mentioned a Ruckup Thursday night in DC.
- Finally, Bomber will be weighing rucks and giving out hugs at the Madisonville and Jacksonville Travis Manion Events.
